POEM: WORLD

Frighteningly beautiful,

with alluring objects

that sunff life momentarily.

Sparklingly magnificent,

with dumbstruck awe

that blinds the beholder.

Gracious blessings -

completion of a being

that fades away unknowingly.

Twists and turns,

slides and glides -

Opposite ways to life.

Flesh-tearing thorns

encased in a fancy ball -

that's the world we live in.
